IT-Supporter Student
Currently studying to become an IT Supporter and working as an IT apprentice (elev) at Esbjerg Kommune, Denmark. Passionate about computers, networking, hardware, and building real-world IT experience one system at a time.
// whoami
I’m an aspiring IT professional based in Denmark, currently working as an IT Supporter apprentice (elev) at Esbjerg Kommune while studying to earn my formal IT Supporter qualification.
My passion for technology started long before any formal training. Pulling apart computers, diagnosing hardware faults, and figuring out why the network was slow. I thrive in environments where problem-solving meets real systems.
Whether it is setting up a home lab, configuring a router, or helping a colleague get back online, I take satisfaction in making technology work the way it should. Always learning. Always curious.
// projects
Built and configured a personal home lab environment for testing network configurations, server software, and OS deployments safely outside of production systems.
Planned, sourced, and assembled multiple custom PC builds. Focused on component compatibility, thermal management, and performance benchmarking after assembly.
Set up and configured home networking equipment including routers, switches, and access points. Practised subnetting, DNS configuration, and DHCP management.
Real-world IT support work as an apprentice in municipal government IT. End-user assistance, hardware setup, software installation, and internal IT ticketing workflows.
// education
Formal vocational training to become a certified IT Supporter. Combining classroom study with practical apprenticeship at Esbjerg Kommune. Topics include:
Working in a real IT support environment within municipal government. Gaining hands-on experience with enterprise hardware, software, and support workflows alongside a professional IT team.
